As already stated, these cables are of different sizes and lengths. When you are shopping for these cables to configure your consoles, make sure you buy the right length. You also need to know the brand it is meant for because these different brands have different ports. The secret is to use the appropriate cable to do the task. And as a reminder, do not waste your time trying to use an Ethernet cable or Ethernet port on your computer. It will not work.
