The LSI Logic 9260CV-8I Megaraid SAS 9260CV-8I RAID controller is built on a PCIe 2.0 interface and provides 8 internal ports. It supports up to 256 SAS and SATA drives and can be expanded using SAS expanders. The controller also supports a maximum of 512 virtual drives and a maximum of 64 logical drives.
The controller is designed to provide a high-performance RAID solution with a data transfer rate of up to 6GB/s. It uses a dual-core RAID-on-Chip (ROC) processor to manage RAID operations and provides hardware acceleration for RAID 5 and RAID 6. The controller also includes a 512MB DDR2 cache memory module that can be upgraded to 1GB.
RAID Levels Supported
