The CISCO7613 router is a high-performance router that can be used to manage the network bandwidth of a large enterprise network. It is equipped with 2 7600 Series Route Switch Processor (RSP) which provides a high level of performance and scalability. To manage the network bandwidth of a CISCO7613 router, you can use a combination of different techniques:
- Quality of Service (QoS) - This allows you to prioritize different types of traffic, such as voice or video, and ensure that they receive the necessary bandwidth. You can use QoS to set up traffic classes and apply various policies, such as traffic shaping or policing, to control the amount of bandwidth that is allocated to each class.
- Traffic shaping - This allows you to control the rate at which traffic is sent to a specific interface or network. By shaping traffic, you can ensure that traffic conforms to a specific rate, which can help to prevent congestion and ensure that critical applications receive the necessary bandwidth.
- Access control lists (ACLs) - This allows you to limit the amount of traffic that is allowed to enter or leave a specific interface or network. You can use ACLs to block unwanted traffic, such as spam or malware, and ensure that only authorized traffic is allowed to pass through the router.
- Link fragmentation and interleaving (LFI) - This improves the performance of real-time applications, such as VoIP, by fragmenting large packets and interleaving them with smaller packets. By fragmenting packets, you can ensure that they are transmitted more efficiently and reduce the risk of packet loss.
- Multi-layer switching - This allows you to perform both Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching in the same device, which can help to increase network bandwidth. By performing switching at multiple layers, you can reduce the number of hops that a packet needs to take, which can help to increase the overall performance of the network.
The CISCO7613 router, equipped with 2 7600 Series Route Switch Processor (RSP), supports a variety of advanced routing protocols that can be used to improve the performance and scalability of a network. Some of the advanced routing protocols that can be used with the CISCO7613 router are:
- Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) - This is a routing protocol that is commonly used to interconnect different autonomous systems (AS) on the internet. BGP is a path vector protocol that uses a combination of metrics, such as AS path and next hop, to determine the best route to a destination.
- Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) - This is a link-state routing protocol that is commonly used in enterprise networks. OSPF uses a link-state database to determine the best path to a destination and supports equal-cost multi-path (ECMP) routing.
- Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) - This is a Cisco proprietary protocol that is similar to OSPF. EIGRP uses a combination of metrics, such as bandwidth and delay, to determine the best path to a destination.
- Routing Information Protocol (RIP) - This is a distance-vector routing protocol that is commonly used in small and medium-sized networks. RIP uses a hop count as its metric and supports a maximum of 15 hops.
- Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) - This is a protocol that allows you to create virtual circuits through a network. MPLS can be used to improve the performance of real-time applications, such as video and voice, by providing a more efficient way to forward traffic.
Establishing internet connectivity on a CISCO7613 router with 2 7600 Series Route Switch Processor (RSP) involves configuring the router to connect to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and properly routing internet traffic to the internal network. Here are the general steps for establishing internet connectivity on the CISCO7613 router:
- Configure the physical interface connecting to the ISP. This typically involves configuring the interface with the correct speed, duplex, and encapsulation settings.
- Configure the WAN protocol, such as Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) or Internet Protocol (IP), on the interface. This will typically require the ISP to provide the necessary username, password, and IP address information.
- Configure dynamic or static routing on the router. This will typically involve configuring a routing protocol, such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) or Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), or static routes to direct internet traffic to the correct internal network.
- Configure access control lists (ACLs) to control access to the internet and protect the internal network from unwanted traffic.
- Configure Network Address Translation (NAT) to allow internal hosts to access the internet. NAT allows internal hosts to use private IP addresses and translates them to a public IP address for internet access.
- Configure Domain Name System (DNS) server for internal hosts to resolve domain names to IP addresses.
- Configure Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

About Refurbished Products
Warranty
ALLHDD guarantees that the products will not have defects in material that will affect the product's functionality during the Standard Warranty Period. The warranty period starts when the merchandise/items from our warehouse.
What does ALLHDD.Com warranty cover?
30-days to 3 years warranty:
Replacement or refund. In the case of material defects, we will try to replace the product first. The product will be replaced before the expiration of the original warranty. For any failure of hardware, if we cannot process the replacement of the product(s)/model(s), we will refund the original selling/invoiced price. What is not covered by our warranty?
The reason why our warranty does not cover any problem caused by the following conditions:
(a) misuse of hardware; accidental damage; carelessness product(s) damage; shock; temperature beyond the specification of any product; faulty installation; operation; modification of goods;
(b) any misuse outside the instructions in the user manual for any specific product;
(c) damaged caused by other hardware or equipment. The warranty will void if the item is returned with physical damage, damage to the retail box, removed from the box, counterfeit labels/labelled by them, or any modifications of internal and external covers. Data loss or damages to any other equipment we do not cover by our offered warranty.
What is the Manufacturer/Brand Warranty?
In general, a manufacturer's warranty service/support is a written guarantee to the buyer of a product. Its terms assure the replacement or repair of the product, if necessary, within a specified period after the purchase (2-5 years depending on the brand/manufacturer). It is typically included in the price of the product. Products are brand new and sealed and the original manufacturer box is complete with the Manufacturer's genuine warranty. For most of the brand new/retail products that come with the manual and box, exceptions may apply (i.e., Cisco, Juniper Networks).
For the server parts (i.e., Dell, HPE) to get Full coverage of the warranty server must have a full 3- 5 years warranty. However, ALLHDD.COM will cover the warranty duration if any Manufacturer doesn't support the advertised warranty and there is no refund for those.
Final Sale items are non-returnable/refundable in any situation. Any question? please ask our team before the shipment.
