ProLiant ML150

This tower stands at only 17.03 x 7.87 x 24.41in (H x W x D) and weighs approximately between 32 and 64lbs depending on the specifications. The ML150 can be used while mounted on a rack (5U) or in its default ‘stand-alone’ state just like a PC. The ProLiant ML150 will give you excellent service; whether you decide to use it in its stock form or if you upgrade its specifications to suit your growing technical needs. This server is PCIe 3.0 (4GB/s) compliant offering four slots specifically for this purpose.
Graphics
The HP ProLiant ML150 has one VGA port for video display. It supports one double-wide or two single-wide GPU cards. This server can be used comfortably to support entertainment needs such as gaming.
Connectivity
The ML150 has two RJ45 ports (1GbE) for Ethernet connectivity and one (optional) HPE integrated Lights Out remote management network port.
Processor
This particular server has the capability to support a maximum of two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 series. This range includes the Xeon 1.7GHz, Xeon 1.90GHz to 2.6GHz with 10 cores. Please note that the processors have to be of the same rating for them to work in tandem.
Storage
Depending on your storage needs, the ProLiant ML150 gives you the options of 10LFF or 16 SFF hard disk drives. It also has two USB 2.0 slots (in the front) and four USB 3.0 slots (two in the front and two behind). HP ML150 also has an internal micro SD slot.
Sixteen DIMM slots are offered in this model which can support the proprietary HPE Smart memory DDR4 (2400 MHz) up to a maximum of 512 GB. Room to scale your RAM ensures that your server gives you optimum performance even with an increased workload.
Operating System
You now have the option of ordering the HP ProLiant Gen 9 with the Linux-based ClearOS. This operating system comes in the form of an intuitive web-based user interface that allows SMBs to access lots of essential services.
ClearOS comes with over 80 free applications along with their updates, patches, and fixes. Many companies prefer to use ClearOS because of the dependable gateway and networking apps that come pre-installed. With the right expertise, this could save your company the intricacies of running expensive network management systems.
