Installation and Configuration
Set up the Dell VRTX Chassis Management Controller (CMC):
- Connect the CMC to a network and power it on.
- Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the CMC in the address bar.
- Enter the default username and password to log in to the CMC. The default username is “root” and the password is “calvin”.
- Go to “System”, then “System Configuration”, then “Baseboard Management Controller” and select the “Manage” tab.
- Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address for the CMC.
- Save the changes.
Configure the iDRAC:
- Connect to the iDRAC using the web interface.
- Enter the default username and password, which is “root” and “calvin” respectively.
- Go to “iDRAC Settings” and select “Network”.
- Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address for the iDRAC.
