The 80103-01 Dell Equallogic 3.5 Inch SAS/SATA Tray is a hot-swappable storage tray designed for use with Dell Equallogic storage arrays. This tray is compatible with both SAS and SATA hard drives and supports a maximum storage capacity of up to 4 TB. Installation Guide
- Power off and unplug the Dell Equallogic storage array.
- Locate an empty drive bay within the storage array.
- Release the drive bay by pressing the release button.
- Remove the cover from the drive bay.
- Connect the SAS or SATA cables to the back of the hard drive.
- Slide the hard drive into the 80103-01 tray until it clicks into place.
- Carefully insert the tray back into the drive bay and secure it with the release button.
- Replace the cover on the drive bay.
- Power on and plug in the Dell Equallogic storage array.
- The newly installed hard drive should be automatically recognized and added to the storage array.
