The switch also supports port-based and protocol-based VLANs which allows the switch to automatically move ports from a higher power state to a lower power state based on the status of the link.
The switch also has the ability to schedule the power-up and power-down of the switch ports, this means the switch ports can be powered off during non-business hours to save energy.
